Trial Contract
1. YOUR USE OF THE SMARTCALL SERVICE
1.1 You agree to use SmartCall Service in accordance with the SmartCall Terms of Use, which form an integral part of this Contract.
1.2 After signing this contract it usually takes 1 business day to set up the trial account.
1.3 You can make international calls using the following Phone callback method:
• Call Happy Call at 01 797390 / 08 334955 / 09 274438.
• Tell the operator you want to make an international call.
• State your name and account number, the telephone number you want to call from and the destination number. End the call.
• After a minute your phone will ring – Answer it. The line will be silent.
• After a few seconds the international number you are calling will ring as usual.
1.4 You can call to anywhere in the world.
1.5 This SmartCall Trial Account is valid for 30 days, starting on the first day You use the SmartCall service.
1.6 You are eligible to one (1) SmartCall trial period only. After Your trial period and settlement of the calls You can open a regular pre-paid or postpaid SmartCall account.
2. SMARTCALL CREDIT AND COSTS
2.1 The calls are POSTPAID and are paid by cash.
2.2 The maximum calling amount used during the trial period is K1000.
2.3 We will deactivate Your account at the end of the trial period or when Your bill of calls amounts K1000 or more.
2.4 You only pay for the minutes You call or the connections You try to make at the rates available at the Happy Call.
2.5 Calls are charged by the minute and charging starts once You are connected.
2.6 We do not guarantee the quality of the international connection.
2.7 An overview with Your calling details and costs is provided at Our telephone bureau after Your trial period. Your end of trial bill is invoiced to You by SMS message.
2.8 You agree to pay the full balance of Your account to Happy Call within 7 days of notice / invoicing.
3. MARKETING
3.1 If You bring us a new customer we will give you K150 in cash or we will add K200 to Your regular SmartCall account.
3.2 The new customer has to provide Your cell phone number when s/he signs up and credits the account.
4. CHANGES TO THIS SMARTCALL CONTRACT OF AGREEMENT
4.1 We reserve the right to amend this SmartCall Contract of Agreement at any time. All such changes will take effect once they have been made available at Happy Call and once You have been sent a notice of change via text message and You will be deemed to have accepted any such changes by Your use of the Services from such time. These SmartCall Contract of Agreement was last updated on 7 February 2006.
